Bismillah. It’s hard… to not be sad, disappointed or disheartened when you found out that something is not how it appears to be. When you realise that beneath what has unfolded, the reality is that you failed.
Failing to me is not fulfilling my amanah, my tendency to depend on people and the lack of time management/prioritising. But the essense of failing is not failure. It’s how one comes up wiser after each fall and stronger after each defeat.
The beauty in failing is the lesson embedded in its almost-failure situation - what actually happens is that it gives way to better opportunities. Just remember: Allah is the best of Planners and He knows what’s best for us.
Duaa (Supplication) to enter the Holy Mosque. Let’s make this a practice, Insya Allah!

A young man who grows up worshipping his Lord, 3. A man whose heart is attached to the mosque, 4. Two men who love one another for the sake of Allah and meet and part on that basis, 5. A man who is called by a woman of rank and beauty and says ‘I fear Allah’, 6. A man who gives in charity and conceals it to such an extent that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives 7. And a man who remembers Allah when he is alone, and his eyes fill up.” [Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Ya Allah, let us be among these people. Let us grow to be one of them. :’) insya Allah!
